Academic Tips – Writing an Abstract

The BAM Researcher Development Hub | This event is specially designed for research students and members of staff at the University of Chester’s Faculty of Business & Management (BAM). Eligibility: Open to all researchers and doctoral students from across the University of Chester Academic Tips sessions are designed to give informal, practical advice and guidance, such as selecting which conferences to attend, writing an abstract, how to prepare for a conference presentation, and making sense of feedback from peers. They are organised by the Faculty of Business and Management and the Business Research Institute / China Centre, and are open to researchers and doctoral students from across the University of Chester. Car Parking Car Park Entry and Exit Barrier, Queen’s Park Campus is now place: Students – can all students who use the car park and require entry please bring University ID cards, as this will be the only way to gain access. ID cards will activate the entrance barrier by passing the card over the reader. Staff – all staff ID cards have been activated and will work on the entrance barrier by passing the card over the reader. If any staff member does not have an ID card please contact Janette Torry at LiS () to obtain a new card.   Visitors – your visit will be booked in via reception ahead of your arrival, and you can obtain a parking permit. At the intercom, press for either Bridge or Churchill reception to be let in. Parking restrictions are still in place so valid parking passes are also required.
