Winter Health and Wellbeing Event: Maggies @ The Christie

Are you being treated for a primary cancer at The Christie NHS Foundation Trust? Are you soon to be finishing treatment, and thinking about life after cancer? Perhaps you are a Professional working at The Christie with a group of patients with primaries about to finish curative treatment? Or perhaps you are currently having treatment for any cancer and thinking about your general health and wellbeing once treatment ends? For all patients and carers living with and beyond cancer, access to a ‘health and wellbeing’ event is a critical part of our offer of care here at The Christie. This is the time when you are dealing with the lasting impact of your diagnosis, but looking forward to finishing treatment and moving on. You might have one or two ongoing niggles or side effects, and of course there are worries about the cancer coming back. Join us to find out how we can help you work out what happens next and how to keep well following treatment. We will hear from other patients and carers who are living with and beyond cancer, and members of staff will be on hand to answer any questions you might have. This short event will get to ready and thinking about your life ahead. A light lunch will be provided. The event will be held in the informal and comfortable environs of oour local Maggies Centre, situated just across the road from hospital. This is a free event. We welcome all patients, carers and family members who have been affected by cancer at The Christie NHS Foundation Trust for our winter event. Fievent.com | Contact | Privacy | Terms
