Matt Estlea; woodworker, tutor and social influencer, will be in-store covering sharpening, dovetailing and plane set-up and use. We first introduced you to Matt via our Meet The Maker series back in 2016. At the time Matt was a student at Rycotewood Furniture Centre in Oxford, as well as working part-time at our store in Basingstoke. It was during this time that he became accustomed to filming the creation of his projects. Now we present Matt Estlea, a tutor at Rycotewood Furniture Centre, an inspirational demonstrator on a tour of all eight Axminster stores and an influential YouTuber with over one hundred thousand subscribers. Matt’s adulation for his craft and love of a challenge together with his pared-back style invigorates traditional woodworking methods.
