After a fantastic TagFest Coventry in 2019, the only Midlands tournament in the TagFest Series welcomes teams from all corners of the country. To be hosted in the tranquil and beautiful surroundings of the Warwickshire Spa Town, Royal Leamington Spa sets up the perfect fancy dress theme for this event ‘Royalty’. Interpret as you wish, Kings, Queens, Princes and Princesses, I’m sure the «creative» amongst us will raise a few smiles. With a capacity of 24 teams, TagFest Coventry & Warwickshire 2020 has ambitious growth plans, offering divisions for all standards and an after-party to be reckoned with. Just 2 minutes from the side of the pitch, the Newbold Comyn Arms will play host to the after-party before heading in to town to see the night out. Royal Leamington Spa is just over an hour on the train from central London, only two hours from Bristol in the South and Manchester in the North so take your team on tour and make a weekend of it. (Click on image to expand) FORMAT (7-a-side) will have a guaranteed game time of 90 minutes Regular Try Tag Rugby Rules apply Maximum of 12 players per squad, minimum 3 female on the pitch at any one time Teams will be seeded and graded based on submitted squad lists prior to the tournament. Squad lists must be complete by Sunday 5th July at the very latest. Pools will be created which in turn will break out into Cup, Plate and Bowl etc competitions so there is always something to play for. If your usual team can’t play or you just fancy a bit of a change, don’t worry, you can always register for the tournament as an individual and we will assign you to a new team or we can build a team around you on request. PITCH LOCATIONS If driving, park in the furthest/last car park, past the leisure centre just before the road ends and head towards the Pavilion. If in taxi, on foot or bicycle, carry on the road into the park and as it turns to a pathway you will see the Pavilion ahead where the Try Tag Rugby staff will greet you. TAGFEST SHORTS and TIGHTS Official TagFest regional shorts and tights will be available to order on our online shop (from March 2020) at , with a selection also available at each event. PLAYING KIT ITF approved Tag Rugby shorts or tights are compulsory, available from the Try Tag Rugby Shop in advance or via card on the day.
