Start the new year by introducing your child to the wonderful world of music. Our creative and lively workshops are designed to awaken a child’s love for music through the discovery and exploration of rhythm and sounds, whilst equipping them with basic musical skills. Through musical games, singing, movement and playing simple percussion instruments, children develop skills key to any future music education. This includes rhythmic development, musical knowledge, pitch development as well as encouraging good motor skills and helping concentration. Many children attending our music workshop go on to learn to play a musical instrument with Tafelmusik as they get older. If you have a child between the ages of 18 months and 3 years, why not bring them along for a free trial on Thursday 16 January 2020 at 10am. Each session lasts 45 minutes. Following the trial session there will be a short course of 4 workshops from the following week costing £31.80.
