A half a day training course aimed at businesses who either serve or employ people with learning disabilities. It will cover: What is a learning disability How as an organisation you can support people with learning disabilities to be valued members of your work force What extra support people with learning disabilities might need as customers. Why attend? This course will give you a better understanding of how to be inclusive of people with learning disabilities in your field of work and in society as a whole. On completion of the session you will receive a certificate of attendance which can be used as part of your demonstration of competence for your role. Who is this session suitable for? This session is suitable for anybody who works in a business, whether they are in customer service role or in a managerial position.
