The world’s biggest half marathon starts in central Newcastle and finishes next to the National Trust’s own Souter Lighthouse in South Shields. To sign up for a place with the National Trust in the Great North Run there is an entry fee of £25 and a minimum sponsorship pledge of £400. Your fundraising can support whichever National Trust place or property is special to you and once signed up, we will send you a National Trust fundraising pack and running vest and will be here to help you raise as much as possible for special places.
