Join us for this Saturday morning digital making event, along with other children, adults, families and teachers from beginners to expert to take part in some free workshops and drop-in activities using devices like Raspberry Pi computers and Micro:bit. We positively welcome beginners of all ages who would like to learn more about computers, software, programming or hardware development. No additional equipment is required. It is expected that children and adults will participate in activities together.  Please note that children must be supervised by an ***** at all times. Safeguarding policy.  Topics vary each month and may include: Learn what you can do with a Raspberry Pi in a practical hands-on session. Ideal for complete beginners or somebody who wants to improve their understanding and skills.  Create an interactive game in a practical hands-on session. Ideal for complete beginners or somebody who wants to improve their understanding and skills.  Invent with a Micro:bit in a practical hands-on session  Limited tickets available to book here, however additional spaces are always available on the day on a ‘first come, first served’ basis for those who were unable to book tickets, just try to arrive promptly. Getting there – please consider walking or using public transport where possible. There is extremely limited parking available on nearby streets, please check restrictions. Pay & Display available at the Black Bull opposite the library.
