CRAZY JEANS is a one-of-its-kind charity soapbox race and family fun day raising money for local charities while bringing communities, businesses and organisations together in the heart of Tunbridge Wells. After a hugely successful inaugural event in 2018, we are pleased to announce the third annual races are returning to Dunorlan Park in the heart of the town on Saturday, June 27th 2020. With 40 handmade soapboxes, each sponsored and manned by local businesses and community groups the exhilarating races will raise money for Hospice in the Weald . Crazy Jean’s is the brainchild of Tunbridge Wells entrepreneur Garry Jeffery and Nicole Piesse Turner, director of local PR and marketing company Chatty Hatter. Together they formed Crazy jeans Events Ltd in 2018 to bring this exhilarating event to Tunbridge Wells annually to raise tens of thousands of pounds for charity and in memory of Nicole’s beloved father Michael and Garry’s mother Jean.
