Business Health Check – Newark & Sherwood 10 July 2019

This free, one to one session offers guidance and support to help you grow your business. It is part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund and are hosted by D2N2 Growth Hub in partnership with Newark & Sherwood District Council.   In this one-to-one 90 minute session, a D2N2 Growth Hub Adviser will provide guidance on a range of marketing topics and answer some of the most commonly asked questions such as:   How can marketing help grow my business? What’s a marketing plan and should I have one? How do I find and reach customers? What types of marketing should I use? How do I create and build my brand? What can I achieve on a small budget?   Whether you’re new to marketing or looking to embed marketing into your business, you will receive practical advice and information on the tools, tactics and techniques to make your marketing more effective.   The session topics are not solely limited to marketing; you will have the opportunity to pose questions to a D2N2 adviser on a range of business issues. From access to finance to expand, guidance on the latest legislation or practical business support, you will be provided with up-to-date, valuable and relevant information. Depending on your business needs, a follow-up business review can also be arranged which is a free of charge service to small and medium sized enterprises across the D2N2 region. Who Should Attend? This session is most suited to those businesses who have been trading for over a year, are looking to grow and expand and operate within the B2B sector (businesses selling/servicing to other businesses) and are based in Derby, Derbyshire, Nottingham or Nottinghamshire. One form is to ensure you are a small to medium enterprise, the second is to capture any business support you have received over the last 3 years to ensure you haven’t exceeded €200,000.
