APMP Practitioner coaching workshop – London – 21 Oct 202…

APMP Practitioner is the second tier on the professional certification ladder for specialists in bid and proposal management.  A new version of the Practitioner qualification was introduced in summer 2019. It uses an online, 2.5-hour Objective Testing Exam to assess whether candidates can apply best practice to a series of complex questions about a given scenario. This course will help you to understand how the exam is structured how best to prepare for the exam the different styles of questions you’ll see on the exam paper what to expect on the day you sit the exam. You’ll also have a chance to practice a set of example exam questions. You’ll then sit the exam in your own time (back at your office / at home, as appropriate), after attending the course. (You do NOT do the exam on the day of the course). Once you’ve passed, you’ll receive an electronic certificate and a digital badge, and you’ll be entitled to use the designation ‘CP APMP’.  The course is presented by our Managing Director, award-winning trainer Jon Williams – a Fellow of both APMP and the Institute of Sales Management. We’ve had outstanding feedback on this event, since running the first classroom course in the world for the new qualification in July 2019. So, join us to understand how to pass this important qualification! Self-study before sitting the exam For clarity, please note that we do NOT revise the 51 competencies in APMP’s «Body of Knowledge» during this half-day course! The event is about exam technique and preparation, and recommends which topics you should concentrate on revising in your own time – after the event, before you sit the exam. Choosing the right booking option It’s recommended that you have at least three years’ experience working in a bid / proposal environment before you sit this exam. Two options are available:  Coaching course only: £165.00 plus VAT and Eventbrite’s booking fee. This rate does NOT include the exam fee (currently £510 including VAT). Coaching course plus Practitioner exam fee: £590.00 plus VAT and Eventbrite’s booking fee. We’ll register you to sit the exam online on a date of your choosing. (You don’t need to decide the date before attending the course!) Your course fee includes the training, refreshments during the morning, and course handouts. Note that every candidate for APMP Practitioner must be a member of APMP at the point when they fix the date to sit their exam. (Membership costs $155 via apmp.org and this is not included in our course fee.) Cancellation policy We have to order printed materials and confirm numbers to the venue well in advance. We appreciate the pressures of life in bids and proposals, but we’re sure you’ll appreciate that we can’t end up being left out-of-pocket for costs we can’t recover. Our cancellation policy is as follows: You may cancel your place at no cost up to 7 days in advance; you’ll receive a full refund of all the costs other than EventBrite’s booking fee. If you cancel less than 7 days before the event, no refund is payable (as by then we’ll already have ordered all the materials for you) – but you’re welcome, at no cost, to nominate a colleague to attend in your place. GDPR As part of the certification process, we’ll need to share your information with both the Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) and APMG International (who adminster the exam on APMP’s behalf). By booking onto the course, you consent to us doing so.  Do send us an email to jw@strategicproposals.com if you have any questions about the event. We look forward to welcoming you to the course.
