Join our crochet tutor Louisa Wood for a two-part workshop, learning the Japanese art of amigurumi – the knitting or crocheting of small, stuffed, yarn creatures. The two-part workshops will be run from our Saltaire shop on Friday 14 August 2020 (10am – 3pm) and Friday 21 August 2020 (10am – 3pm). In these two sessions Louisa will guide you through crocheting «Emma the Bunny» – a gorgeous Toft UK amigurumi animal. If you have ever wanted to learn how to crochet simple stuffed toys, then this is the course for you! Over the two sessions you will learn basic amigurumi skills, how to master the magic circle and basic increase and decrease techniques for crocheting in the round. You will be shown how to put your new skills together to create your very own Toft UK «Emma the Bunny». Skill Level: Basic crochet skills and a reasonably level of existing crochet confidence are required. Cost: £60 – includes all materials, equipment use and a Toft UK pattern.
