ABOUT THE COURSE
A morning session to gain an understanding in Advance Care Planning and DNACPR (including legal and ethical issues) followed by an afternoon session on how to commence discussions surrounding future planning and end of life care. Applicants are able to attend one or both sessions as required. This course will be delivered by Nicky Wood, Education Lead.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
The course is designed for health and social care professionals working in a hospice, acute, community or Care Home setting who require an introduction to Advance Care Planning or who wish to develop their communication skills in relation to difficult conversations.
