York Council Question Time, St Peter's School, Tuesday, 30. April 2019

York residents can propose questions to York City councillors, for the upcoming local elections on 2 May. We’re giving residents a chance to pose questions to the politicians and giving councillors an opportunity to lay out their party vision. We hope this event will give more insight to residents about policies prior to this important local election.
York is a politically dynamic city where all parties have a serious chance of getting into office. Therefore we think it’s best you have your say and your questions answered prior to this election.
At the event the councillors will come from a range of backgrounds and professions. The panel will include:

Conservative – Cllr Stuart Rawlings, councillor for Clifton Without and Rawcliffe. Former council exec member for education and local business owner.
Green – Cllr Dave Taylor, councillor for Fishergate. Former Lord Mayor of York, active environmentalist with a background in marketing. Scrutiny Committee Chair.
Labour – Cllr Kallum Taylor, councillor for Holgate. Newly elected councillor who won 50% of the vote in the by-election. Former student union president at University of York.
Liberal Democrats – Cllr Ashley Mason, councillor for Dringhouses and Woodthorpe. Worked in the medical profession. Vice-chair of the North Yorkshire Police and Crime Panel

Light refreshments provided and a chance to talk with councillors following the event.
Please either print off your ticket or display it to us on your smartphone or tablet on the evening.
