Yoga Nidra - Yogic Sleep, Deep Relaxation, Hiltingbury Community Centre (The Hilt), Friday, 11. October 2019

Yoga Nidra is a transformative state of deep relaxation where your brain goes from the active state in beta waves to theta waves, a very relaxed state. You will experience a meditative state without having formally ‘meditated’. It's a simple way to reduce stress. Yoga nidra promotes deep rest and relaxation that isn't found in your average meditation practice. The stages of body scan and breath awareness alone can be practiced to calm the nervous system, leading to less stress and better health.
This is a really popular session and they book quickly so please message me with any questions. Please bring a mat with you if you have one along with a pillow and a blanket.
Dress in comfortable clothes. If you haven't taken a Zen Yoga class before, please arrive 10 minutes early to fill out a registration form.
