Writing a winning CV, St George's Building, Wednesday, 27. March 2019

As you start to think about the future, why not come along and brush up on how to write a winning CV, to meet what potential employers are looking for?
In the session, we will look at sample CVs, and see what is working, and what isn't, in the structure, language and style that helps to sell yourself. You should leave with ideas on how to improve your own CV and be in a good position to impress. We will also discuss what employers look for in applications.
This session is co-run between Alexandra Hemingway, of the University Careers Service, and Ian Johnson from the EDSOC Learning Development team. The session can be extended until 2.30pm for those who want to, but if you can only manage to stay for an hour, that's also OK - you will receive copies of all materials used.
