Workshop: Safeguarding, with Prevent, CSE & FGM, Royal Tunbridge Wells, Friday, 17. July 2020
Whatever the role of your company or organisation we all have legal responsibilities when it comes to safeguarding children. This training course will give you and your staff team a practical overview of what you need to know should you have any concerns about a child’s well-being and safety in your day to day work. This interactive course is perfect for volunteers and employees who are new to their role or for more experienced staff who simply want to refresh and update their knowledge of safeguarding children. The morning sessions include reflections on current cases and practical examples, so that participants will gain knowledge and confidence in dealing with tricky situations and an increased understanding of their safeguarding responsibilities in the workplace. The afternoon sessions focus on safeguarding issues of the day, giving participants an important opportunity to talk about situations they currently **** in their interactions with vulnerable children such as online safety, Child Sexual Exploitation, Radicalisation and Female Genital Mutilation.
