Wellbeing and mindfulness day retreat, The Restoration Yard, Saturday, 23. November 2019

Please join us for an energising and restorative day retreat in the stunning surroundings of Dalkeith Country Park. This is a fantastic opportunity to unplug, unwind and recharge your batteries. The day comprises a perfect blend of mindfulness, gentle yoga and sound therapy, to help you rebalance your mind and body leaving you feeling connected, energised and nourished.
The day will include:

Guided mindfulness practices in nature

Mindful body scans & Qi Gong techniques

Gentle yoga and movement

A range of relaxing and energising breath exercises

Sound meditation with instruments

Mindfulness practices that you can integrate into your daily life

This day retreat is open to anyone interested in wellbeing and mindfulness and for anyone that needs a break from the busy hustle and bustle of daily life. We welcome complete beginners who are attending their first ever retreat to those who attend retreats and practice self-care regularly.

Some additional information that we hope will be helpful:
Retreat leaders: Our fabulous facilitators for the day are Craig Ali and Gary Young, Founder of The Mindful Enterprise CIC. Both Craig and Gary have decades of experience and are passionate, knowledgeable and experienced retreat leaders.
Location: The retreat is held at The Wellbeing Lab in The Restoration Yard, within the grounds of: Dalkeith Country Park, via The King's Gate, Dalkeith, Edinburgh, Scotland, EH22 1ST. You can enjoy a sneak preview of the venue here: 
Timings: The day begins at 10am and ends at approximately 5pm. Please arrive from 9.30am in order to make yourself comfortable.
Parking: There is free car parking available.
Lunch: As part of the day, we will be providing a simply scrumptious, nutritious, seasonal vegan and vegetarian lunch (please let us know if you have any allergies). We would recommend bringing a water bottle with you.
What to wear: Casual attire or lose clothing - go for comfort, so you can indulge in the delights of the day. We will of course be doing some mediation and relaxation during the day therefore we would suggest layering to keep warm between practises – plus it’s November in Scotland!
What to bring: You might like to bring the following items with you:-
-        Yoga mat (if you prefer to use your own)
-        Anything extra you like to have when you practise meditation, relaxation, yoga
-        Notebook/pen/pencil - if you feel inspired to jot
Otherwise, the venue provides mats, cushions and blankets so you don't need to worry about bringing anything else!
