Trident Tuesdays, Warwick Trident College (Part of WCG), Tuesday, 26. March 2019

Statistics from trade body Engineering UK show that 186,000 people with engineering skills will be needed annually through to 2024.
There is consistent evidence of skills shortages for employers in key UK engineering sectors that are expanding, especially construction, ICT and manufacturing. Employers anticipate an increasing need for people with higher level skills, and express decreasing confidence in their ability to recruit these in sufficient numbers.
Apprentices can be an invaluable addition to any organisation, bringing unbridled energy and enthusiasm as well as being quick and willing learners. Engineering employers that take on apprentices can also feel a sense of pride in doing their bit to alleviate skills shortages.
The benefit of employing apprentices with WCG Apprenticeships lies in our expert knowledge, extensive industry links and our fantastic facilities at our Rugby, Warwick Trident and Evesham colleges. WCG have successful apprenticeship programmes in place with Jaguar Land Rover, BT Fleet, Cummins Engines, Greenmech, Downhurst Engineering and more...
As one of the UK's largest apprenticeship providers, we are experts in making them work for employers.
Come along to our Trident Tuesdays breakfast drop-in sessions, to enjoy a complimentary Starbucks coffee from our on-site cafe, and get a full tour of our industry-leading engineering training facilities.
We can guarantee that you'll go away knowing:
