Surrey FND Peer Support Group, Surrey Hills Rehab, Friday, 18. September 2020

FND Hope UK Peer Support Group in collaboration with Surrey Hills Rehab for those diagnosed with Functional Neurological Disorder, including families, friends and care partners.

Peer Support
Peer support is the intended result of a structured bringing together of a group of people to share common difficulties and experiences associated with a particular problem, disorder, condition, illness or personal circumstances, such as Functional Neurological Disorder [FND]. People who attend Peer Support Group meetings, truly understand what it is like to live with FND and can share and exchange first-hand, their experiences and insight with other members who may be suffering with the same disorder or with similar symptoms and thus they may offer empathy, support, friendship or help to build confidence.
