Summer Holiday Jelly Tots - Zines, Jelly, Level 1, Wednesday, 21. August 2019

Join us at Jelly's home and artist studios located within Broad Street Mall for a colourful morning of craft and creative play.

This week’s theme is Zines and sketchbooks. In this session we will be using mixed media and messy play to make colourful sketchbook covers. Suitable for ages 2 yrs to 8 yrs.

This session will be run by the talented Alabama Hall.

Alabama Hall is one of the original Jelly Tots. All grown up now and with 21 years experience of attending and helping out at Jelly workshops.

She has curated a Summer Workshop programme based on the workshops that she loved as a tot and teenager.

This session allows you and your child to explore and experiment with art materials and techniques and play in our handmade bus. Throughout the summer holidays we will explore the work of different artists and make things that can be continued to be played with and provide inspiration for future artwork at home.

During term time Jelly Tots is a pre school art club led by artists and designers, for children from 2 years to up to 5 yrs but older children up to the age of 8 are welcome during the holidays.

Our fantastic team run a programme of creative workshops that encourage your child (and you) to join in, learn, make, be creative and play together.

Pre booking guarantees you a space at the craft table and helps us prepare art materials for the session. Pay as you go or book more than one session at a time.

Every week there is a different theme - join our mailing list or join our Facebook ‘jellytotspreschoolartclub’ ()

Sessions at Broad Street Mall last for 1 hour and cost £4 per child 5 years old to 2 years. £6 6 to 8 years.

We recommend a starting age of 2 years but we know all children are different. If you think your younger child would enjoy the session please get in touch.

Babes in arms are free with a paying older sibling.

Please note that this session may be messy. Please bring your own apron and baby wipes. We do not have a toilet within our unit but public toilets are located a short walk away. We will provide water for hand washing.

Jelly is an energetic charity championing the creative arts. We believe in the power of the arts to delight, intrigue, challenge and enrich, and we're committed to formingcreative alliances and partnerships that encourage art and cultural life to flourish.
