Stop-Motion Animation Workshop and Virtual Reality Experience, Corsham Library, Thursday, 15. August 2019

Corsham Institute are running a space themed activity morning to support the Corsham Library Space Chase summer reading challenge. This is a fun and interactive event for young people age 6+ (most suitable for ages 6-12) and is free of charge.
Participants will begin with creating a storyboard to plan their space themed animation. Then, using iPads, they will create and edit stop-motion versions of their stories.
Attendees will also have the chance to take part in an intergalactic virtual reality experience.
There are a limited number of places available for the event. Please only book a space for the child attending. Parents/carers are welcome to attend but do not need to be booked on themselves.
Please note:

Parents of children under 8 must remain in the library during the workshop.

In order for attendees to take part in the Virtual Reality experience this consent form must be completed by a parent/carer ahead of the workshop.

During the workshop we will be taking some photos for a blog post - please let us know here whether you consent to your child having their picture taken.

If you book a space but for any reason your child is unable to attend, please cancel your space as soon as possible to allow someone else to come along.
