After this point you will not recieve a t-shirt and there will be no spares on the night. This is to save the hospice money and reduce waste.
The ticket price covers the cost of administration, refreshments on route and your medal. If you have signed up before the 10th of February you will also recieve a Midnight Walk t-shirt in the post. The booking fee helps the hospice cover our Eventbrite costs.
When do I get my T-shirt?
To recieve a t-shirt you must sign up before the 10th of February 2020. This year there will be no t-shirt collections, all t-shirts will be posted to participants at the end of April/ early May.
Unfortunately we are unable to change the T-shirt size you request when you sign up as all are made to order.
Do I have to raise a certain amount of money? We ask each participant to raise as much sponsorship as possible. By raising £120 you will fund a home visit to a patient living with a terminal illness by one of our health care assistants, enabling them to stay at home and prevent unwanted hospital admissions.
You can download a paper Sponsor Form here. Please ensure each individual’s details are added. Gift Aid cannot be claimed without these.
Can I collect sponsorship from people online? You can create your own Just Giving page with details of what you are doing, when and why. You can email links to your friends, family and colleagues anywhere in the world and they can donate online by debit or credit card. St Elizabeth Hospice automatically receives any donations made via your page. Simply visit .
Can I Gift Aid my donation? You can ask each person that sponsors you to Gift Aid their donation by ticking the Gift Aid box on your sponsor form, if they are a UK taxpayer or pay Capital Gains Tax.  For every £1 they donate, we receive an extra 25p.
What else can I do to raise money?
Many employers will match fund the amounts their employees fundraise. Why not speak with your employer and ask them if they will do this. It is quick and simple and won’t cost you a thing. Usually all they require is a letter from us confirming what you have raised and we will happily provide you with this.
How do I hand in my sponsor money? Please send cheques to: Midnight Walk Team, St Elizabeth Hospice, 565 Foxhall Road, Ipswich, IP3 8LX.  Alternatively, you can bring the money to the Ipswich Hospice.
If you have set up a St Elizabeth Hospice Giving page, we automatically receive all donations made through the website, so you don't need to do anything!
How long will the walk take? The walk will take approximately two-four hours for a fit walker but there is no rush and we encourage all participants to go at their own pace.
The event is definitely not a race and there will be no pressure to finish in a certain time.  There will be lead walkers as well as walkers at the back of the pack to ensure the last participants return safely.
Will there be any refreshments? There will be refreshments on both the 10km route and the half marathon route. There will be hot drinks waiting for you when you return to Trinity Park where you started. We recommend you bring water to take with you when you walk.
Will there be toilets on route?Toilet facilities will be available at the start/finish, the rest point on the half marathon route and at the hospice stop where both routes pass through.
