Safeguarding Training - Warwick, 7th Warwick (Woodloes) Scout HQ, Saturday, 16. March 2019

It is a requirement for all adults (over 18s only) in Scouting to have undertaken 'approved safeguarding training' at least every five years and this is monitored at the point of appointment review.
The training obligation may be met through two routes:

Participating in a Safeguarding Awareness Training session run by the County, meeting the objectives and delivered by an approved trainer*.
Participating in the online alternative (see below).

Given the nature of safeguarding, best practice is to attend a **** to **** training course. However it is recognised that there may be circumstances where **** to **** training is difficult to access, so the online alternative has been provided to ensure flexibility and accessibility for those who need it, you should speak to your Line Manager and County Safeguarding Awareness Coordinator should you wish to use the online alternative
