REHIS Online Elementary Food Hygiene, E-Learning, Friday, 19. October 2018

Who is this for?
It is a legal requirement that your staff understand how to spot and reduce food hazards and handle food properly. This 2 part course is for any food handler who needs to achieve a Level 1 Food Hygiene & Safety Certificate.
Learning Outcomes 
On completion participants will:

Understand the principals to food safety;
Understand microbiological hazards;
Be able to identify food poisoning and its control;
Recognise contamination hazards and controls;
Understand safe handling and storage of food;
Be aware of personal hygiene;
Recognise food pests and pest control;
Understand the importance of cleaning and disinfection.

Course Duration – must be completed within 6 months
Part 1 – minimum 20 hours online completion of 10 modules
Part 2 - 30 Minutes closed book exam 
Successful participants can progress to REHIS Intermediate Food Hygiene course.
