Recruiting for Values, Public Service Plaza, Tuesday, 06. October 2020

Our recruiting for values course is a one day, interactive course that gives you the opportunity to develop and practice new skills and techniques to identify and assess how a candidate’s personal values, behaviours and attitudes align with those of your organisation.
You will leave the course with practical interviewing skills, techniques and resources to use use when recruiting staff into your organisation, as well as an action plan for how to implement values based working across your organisation.
Due to the Values Based Interviewing process you will need to have a minimum of two people trained.   Learning outcomes
By the end of this learning, you will be able to:

Describe what values based recruitment (VBR) is and apply it to your organisational context

Understand how your organisation’s values and behaviours, map to the values based interviewing process

Demonstrate a range of questioning techniques to identify whether candidates have the values, behaviours and attitudes needed to work in your organisation

Develop an action plan to implement VBR in your organisation
