The College of Podiatry Record Keeping Course 
The course is from 9.30am until 3.30pm at

Throughout the day we will extensively look at the COPs Record Keeping and Consent Standards. It is an interactive day which will cover, how to write good patient notes, the legal requirements surrounding patient notes, how to audit your own patient notes, consent for treatment, facts and figures regarding litigation, plus there is a section on General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).  If you do not comply with the COP Clinical Standards then you may leave yourself potentially uninsured and wide open to criticism by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) should an allegation be made against you, or the patient notes will not be defensible in court.
This course is usually over subscribed so please book early to avoid dissapointment.
The fee for the course is £95, or £85 for those attending from an Accredited Practice
Lunch, teas and coffees, will be provided on the day.
You will need to arrange and fund your own travel arrangements getting to and from the venue.
The Stirling Court Hotel offers free parking visitors. This is offered on a first come first served basis and on busy days may be limited. 
Upon arrival at the University gates you should report to the visitor entrance where you will be directed toStirling Court Hotel. At the barrier you will be requested to advise the event you are attending. These precautions are intended to assist you with parking and directions.
