Let's get peeling and chopping some vegetables to make our own woodland soup to ...

A pumpkin each to either carve (for the older children) or a no carve halloween character pumpkin to make (for the little ones). Parent supervision required for this activity.

A bagpiping cat, a squirrel with a banjo and a singing duck! We'll be sawing, chopping or drilling wood to make into our musical instruments, what will yours sound like?

Try some pumpkin soup (pre-made) or our woodland soup around the fire circle whilst listening to the book.

After the story...why not....
Spend some time exploring and playing in the woods, bug hunt, relax in the hammock or have a go on the rope swing or maybe build a den.
Then...
Relax around the fire enjoying a slice of home made cake, toasted marshmallows, hot chocolate/squash for the children and tea or coffee for the adults, before it's time to go home all worn out!
