Predicting and Controlling Noise from High Energy Impact, The Front Room, Wednesday, 24. July 2019

A presentation by Martin McNulty (***** Lea Vibration) and Adam Fox (Mason U.K.)
Controlling noise resulting from impact in new and existing structures is a long-standing problem. The most common sources being gymnasia free weight zones and treadmills, it is difficult to quantify and to be confident of the best control measures. Physical testing carried out by Salford University has formed the basis of efforts by Mason UK and ***** Lea to understand the problem. This talk looks at the results of the research, discusses what was learned and how the information can be used to inform project work.
The North West branch AGM will take place as part of this meeting.
Please join us for drinks and food after the event, kindly sponsored by Mason U.K.
