10 week Illustration for Beginners (Jan 2019)
This course is aimed at people interested in learning and developing skills and techniques to communicate visually. Throughout the course you will learn about some of the key skills involved in being an illustrator. You will also get the chance to work with unique mark making tools and techniques to create an array of illustrated outcomes.
Sessions are a mixture of tutor-led talks, demonstrations, experimentation with artist's materials, drawing techniques, one-to-one support and sharing/communicating with peers.
Although you will practise drawing and painting skills this is not exclusively an instructional drawing/painting course.
