Plant Based Cheese Making & Tasting Workshop - Have fun making some vegan, dairy free, plant based cheeses, coconut yoghurt, coconut water kefir and coconut kefir as well as homemade jams, pickles and chutneys! Eat some yummy cheeses and homemade bread! 

In this practical plant based cheese making and tasting workshop you will learn about different plant based, dairy free cheese making techniques and the easy to find ingredients used to produce them. We use macademia nuts and cashews as a base with almond milk so your cheese will have a great taste we promise!
You will have the chance to make your own samples of several vegan cheeses choosing from Mozzarella,  Halloumi, Mascarpone, Ricotta, Feta and Parmesan to take home with you. We will also make coconut yoghurt,  coconut water kefir, coconut kefir, kombucha, Jun tea and water kefir for you to take home to start your own live, probiotic cultures at home. 
In the second part of the workshop we will sample a range of dairy free cheeses. Accompaniments will include a range of fresh fruit, homemade jams and chutneys, sauerkrauts and kimchis and freshly baked homemade breads including a selection from the following: sour dough, rye bread, olive bread, cheddar and chilli. With freshly ground organic coffee, a range of herbal teas, kombuchas, water kefirs and Jun tea to drink.
You will be able to sample different combinations and see what you love best! Cheese lovers heaven!
You will be given your samples of fresh cheese to take home as well as some samples of chutneys, jams and coconut yoghurt, coconut kefir, cocnut water kefir, kombucha scoby and water kefir grains along with your detailed notes to make the cheeses and the recipes for the chutneys, jams and homemade breads.

We run all our workshops in our kitchen and dining room where we have a large dining table for you to work at and plenty of worktop space to store your samples for later and taste all the delicious cheeses, homemade chutneys, jams and homemade breads. The chairs are nice and comfy and you will get a good view of the screen where we will show instructions for you to follow and examples of everything we will be learning about. 
I'm a qualified holistic nutritionist and fully trained nutritional chef and I'm really passionate about making and eating really tasty and nutritious food for all my family and friends to try. I've been teaching people how to cook and eat healthily for over 30 years and love to make new things and experiment with flavours and textures. I run a whole range of workshops from cheese making, fermented foods and drinks, making protein bliss *****, making Christmas treats and learning to cook healthy vegetarian and plant based recipes.
We are unable to offer refunds but we can transfer a ticket to another name or a different date. Workshop vouchers are valid for 12 months and can be bought in advance for birthday and Christmas presents or as a special treat!
All proceeds from our workshops go towards funding holistic treatments and support for people recovering from cancer and chronic illnesses.
