Join heritage guide, Carole Jarman, on a circular walk around the town and discover some interesting local history.
Meeting at the drinking  fountain at the bottom of Gosport High Street opposite The Falklands Garden, we begin our walk along what was once North street.
With help from photographs and maps, you’ll learn what the town was like in days gone by. Talking about the people and businesses who were present in the area around 1900.
Going past Seahorse Walk (Biden’s Brewery) into Clarence Road (Fire Station, Barracks, Town Gate) and turning into the High Street.  Discussing the shops, churches, theatres and way of life that Gosport once had.
Duration approx. 90 minutes
