summer event (Barn in the Chilterns), Barn in the Chilterns (private home), Friday, 27. September 2019

brings property design professionals together to inspire and cultivate creative collaboration.

We created a forum for anyone involved in the creative side of the property design profession, from interior designers & architects, kitchen and lighting manufacturers to garden design and art. All professionals working within the property interior design space are welcome - whether it’s to make connections, exchange ideas, gather tips, or find professionals to work with, provides you with the forum to get creative.
We'd like to prolong our summer memories with an 'outdoors' related theme. If the weather is fine, we'll spend our time in the barn's gardens rather than indoors.
The format of our mid-morning/lunchtime event will be:

50-60 minutes of informal networking in The Singing Room (tea/coffee/biscuits included)

Two educational industry-specific presentations/workshops for 45-60 minutes in The Singing Room, PLUS

A final 90 minutes for further informal networking over a 2-course cold fork buffet in The Refectory (or garden), allowing you plenty of time to discuss creative ideas for your upcoming projects

Optional tour of the venue by the present owner, from 1.30pm

The ticket price includes a 2-course buffet (mains & salads + dessert).
(1) Petina Julius, Julius Interiors and Michaela Springford of Blue Bamboo Design
Designing with Nature in mind - a talk on biophilic design
(2) Claire Truman of Heritage Revival
Heritage buildings and their relationship with the exterior
A cold fork buffet will be provided, include vegetarian options. Please contact the organiser, Vanessa Hunt Consulting, to advise of any allergies. I'll be adding the selections shortly - I can't decide. It all looks delicious! Dessert will be fresh fruit Pavlova and tangy Lemon Tart.
The venue is a private home, so the venue is secret unless you're attending. I shall share the map a week or so before the event. It's about four miles north of High Wycombe. So you can easily drive or take a taxi from Wycombe station.
Closer to the event date, further details will be provided here and on our Facebook page.
