Robert Sefr, Whalebone CTO

Robert has +10 years of cybersecurity experience. He worked on large projects for banks, corporations, small businesses, home users, but mainly for broadband operators, small and large ISPs and national wide TELCOs. Besides his previous experience as CTO of Comguard, he was also working as a security analyst  projects like PROKI. Robert is now fully dedicated to Whalebone and manages our developers and security analysts. Robert speaks at many conferences like QuBit. There is nobody who would understand the needs of ISPs in DNS security better than Robert.

Peter Soukenik, Whalebone UK Country Manager

Peter helped +100 ISPs in the CEE region to get the most of Whalebone. As a result, Whalebone is protecting over 400.000 clients of Whalebone’s customers and saving time and money to ISPs. Peter recently moved to London and opened the Whalebone office here. Peter’s mission is to show UK ISPs Whalebone is No. 1 on-premise DNS resolver with DNS security. Peter loves feedback he gets from his customers. One of his favourites is: “Ever since we deployed Whalebone, we haven’t seen any incoming DoS towards our networks.”

About DNS Security and Whalebone

According to Cisco’s Annual Report 2016, 91.3% of malware uses DNS to harm networks. We have our own data! In a period of last 30 day, 27% of all IPs protected by Whalebone experienced at least one security incident related to DNS. Besides, the proportion is increasing each month since we started to measure it.
Both DNS and cybersecurity area become more difficult and complex to manage. Terms like DNSSEC, IPv6, DNS over TLS are just the tip of the iceberg. The more important form of business perspective is to have reliable DNS resolving so that your customers do not experience any troubles whilst using the internet. You need peace of mind, right?

Besides Cybersecurity, we help ISP companies to bring bigger value to their clients:

One of the typical scenarios we can help with is clients` complaints. A client is contacting support: "My internet is not working, the connection is slow." Help desk doesn’t see any technical issue as it is related to malware activities behind the scene. Whalebone can help them to identify the problem and recommend the solution to the client.
Thanks to the performance and the stability of Whalebone, ISP is able to give its clients more reliable internet service.
And as you know, latency directly affects both your end customer's user experience. We provide DNS security with zero impact on latency.
Last but not least, we are decreasing the number of DoS attacks.
