Medication Management for New Managers, Kings Community Church, Thursday, 05. March 2020

This half day course identifies contributing factors that commonly lead to medication errors, review methods of investigating and practice competency assessments. This is a **** to **** course designed for new managers or supervisors.
Learning outcomes
By the end of this learning, you will be able to:

Define and describe medication errors and ways to minimise errors in the future.

Consider the impact of environment, documentation, communication strategy and human error on medication risk.
Conduct root cause analysis on medication errors.
Review current processes in line with findings from robust error investigation.
Assess how to work with other agencies and provide evidence and action plans if required.
Demonstrate use of assessments and competency documents

Additional Information
Learners should bring with them their organisation’s policies and examples of competency paperwork.
