Master Your Marathon, The Elysian Centre, Sunday, 20. January 2019

This workshop is perfect for first-time marathon runners, as well as those who already have a marathon or two under their belt and are after a new PB. In an interactive, fun and informative session we'll help you:
- Set a realistic time goal and show you how to devise - or adapt - a training plan that works towards it. (You DON'T need to be running long runs every single week, or increasing mileage every week!)
- Minimise the risk of injuries and manage niggles.
- Learn how to optimise recovery after your runs. (Stretching, refuelling, rest and a few quirky ideas to try!)
- Prepare for the race itself (including pacing, fuelling, staying motivated and missing the dreaded 'wall'!) 
The day also includes a fully coached and supported long run (with varying distances on offer) on an easy, scenic trail at the appropriate pace for YOU, with individual feedback. This is followed by a practical recovery session and there'll be time at the end for all your marathon-related questions.
