Living Big and Bravely - A Talk by Jessica Hepburn, Southwark Cathedral, Tuesday, 22. October 2019

Jessica Hepburn (author, arts producer and adventure activist) will be talking about how she transformed the biggest disappointment of her life into taking on some of the world’s most iconic endurance challenges which resulted in her being nominated as one of Amnesty International’s Women of Suffragette Spirit. Having swum the English Channel and run the London Marathon, she is now in training to climb Mount Everest in 2020 and become the first woman to ever complete the legendary ‘Pond to Peak’ challenge.
Formally the Executive Director of the Lyric Hammersmith, in 2016 Jessica founded Fertility Fest () – the world’s first arts festival dedicated to fertility and modern families which this year was hosted by the Barbican. She is also the author of two books The Pursuit of Motherhood and 21 Miles: swimming in search of the meaning of motherhood.
Join us for an inspirational evening about how to live as big and bravely as possible when life doesn’t go to plan.
