Leading Family Walks - Wrexham, Alyn Waters Country Park, Friday, 05. June 2020

Are you interested in taking families including small children on a walk. 
If so, come along to this course, delivered by Ramblers Cymru, the charity dedicated to protecting and maintaining our footpaths in Wales.

Course Outline


Safely manage all walkers including children/toddlers on a walk.


Includes, safety around farm animals, horses, dogs, bikes and water.


The effect that different weather conditions can have on children.


What nutrition (food & drink) to bring on a walk. 


Ideas about how to keep children interested on a walk such as common flora and fauna to spot, games to play, treasure hunts, geocaching etc.


Attendees
This course is aimed at individuals who would like to take families including small children on a safe and enjoyable walk.
For current members of Ramblers and Rambler Volunteers, the training session is free.   For all other attendees the cost will be £20.00 per person.

Logistics
The course will start at 9.30am, please arrive 15 minutes before for registration etc.   The course should end around 3.00pm
Tea and coffee will be available.  (You are kindly requested to bring your own lunch).

Syniadau am sut i gadw diddordeb plant ar daith gerdded fel fflora a ffawna cyffredin i'w gweld, gemau i'w chwarae, helfeydd trysor, geogelcio ac ati.

Mae'r cwrs hwn wedi'i anelu at unigolion a hoffai fynd â theuluoedd gan gynnwys plant bach ar daith gerdded ddiogel a difyr.
 
Ar gyfer aelodau cyfredol Cerddwyr a Gwirfoddolwyr Cerddwyr, mae'r sesiwn hyfforddi am ddim. Y gost i bawb arall fydd £20.00 y pen.
