Jurassic Coast Challenge 58km hike for Action Aid, Poole, Friday, 15. May 2020


Join the LGBT+ Sport Fringe Festival as it participates in the Jurassic Coast Challenge through Ultra Challenge. We will be doing the first half of the walk which is 58km from Poole in Dorset to Weymouth.

We will be organising car share which the cost of the event covers entrance to the event, money towards travel and accommodation in Poole the night before and Weymouth after the walk.
We will arrive on the 15th May and return on the 17th May.
Spaces are limited but will be increased if volunteers offer to drive to the event.
The hotel in Poole is called Roundhouse Hotel and check-in is on the 15th May
The hotel in Weymouth is call B+B Weymouth and check-out is on the 17th May
Join 2,000 adventurers of all experience levels & ages and Walk, Jog or Run the spectacular Jurassic Coast - a World Heritage Site. A Poole Harbour start - it's on to Corfe Castle, across to Lulworth Cove, past Durdle Door, with ups and downs all the way to the Weymouth halfway point.

Door, it’s up and down all the way to the Weymouth halfway point. Then it’s
past Portland Bill, past nature reserves and the onto the western end of the unique Chesil Beach to West Bay’s famous cliffs (of TV’s Broadchurch fame) - before a welcome finish line celebration in the vibrant town of Bridport. You’ll get full support and great hospitality all the way - leaving you to focus on this epic Challenge!
As an individual or as a team it’s a great way to do get fit, set a new goal, and to fundraise for a charity that’s special for you if you want to. We’ll be with you every step of the way - from kit advice, optional training walks, to moral support and great hospitality on the day.
