Introduction to Appreciative Inquiry (AI), Haelo HQ, Monday, 25. March 2019

PLEASE NOTE: This is a two-day event, delegates must attend both dates.
Appreciative Inquiry (AI) is a unique, positive development tool for creating change, development, resilience and creativity.
AI is different to traditional problem-solving ‘approaches’ as it focuses on ‘what works’ and builds on research showing that people and teams focusing on their strengths become more effective. This 2-day course will be fun and interactive and can be applied to virtually any role.
Who is this event aimed at?
The course is open to everybody, no prior knowledge or experience is required. However the course is aimed at those who have an existing interest / involvement in safety / quality improvement or team development.
Delegates will need to have the capacity and willingness to actively contribute to spreading the philosophy and using the tools throughout their work.
What will attendees learn at this event / workshop?
By the end of the course, participants will:

have received an introduction to the development of AI and its practical application
have an awareness of the AI principles, the 5D process and SOAR (the AI alternative to SWOT)
have an understanding of designing AI questions and appreciative journaling
