HLP Health Champion Shared Learning Event Three - Battle, Battle Memorial Hall, Tuesday, 21. January 2020

This is the first of two Winter Shared Learning events open to Health Champions and counter staff working in level 2 Healthy Living Pharmacies in East Sussex.
The day is an opportunity to meet with pharmacy colleagues, public health specialists and service providers to exchange ideas, share knowledge and best practice and to feedback thoughts and opinions to help shape the next steps in the East Sussex Healthy Living Pharmacy level 2 programme.
Attendance for Health Champions is mandatory under the HLP level 2 service specifications. Health Champions must attend at least one of the two events from both the summer and winter sessions. A £100 back fill payment will be paid for each of the events attended. Lunch is also provided.
FAQs
Who's eligible to attend the training?
This training session is only open to Health Champions and counter staff working in accredited Healthy Living level 2 community pharmacies based in the East Sussex local authority area. Please do not book tickets if your pharmacy is outside the East Sussex authority boundary as your ticket will be cancelled.
We don’t currently have a Health Champion. Can we send another member of staff?
Yes you can. These sessions are all about good communication, so it’s really important for your branch that one of your counter team attends. By building good interpersonal relationships, we can better support each other in delivering the programme.
Do I have to bring anything with me?
You don't have to bring anything specific, but it may be a good idea to bring a pad and pen to take notes. We’ll provide lunch, and teas and coffees at break times. You don’t have to bring your printed ticket as you’ll be asked to register and sign in when you arrive. The register will be used to authorise your branches £100 backfill payment, so it’s important that you sign in.
What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Battle is served by regular rail and bus services from Hastings & St. Leonards. There are three large Pay & Display car parks available within walking distance of the Memorial Hall. for public transport details, please see National Rail for rail times and tickets, Stagecoach for bus details.
