Level 2 Food Safety Course
The Level 2 food safety course can be applied across multiple sectors including catering, retail, manufacturing and marine.  It is MCA approved so is suitable for super-yachts, cruise liners and ferry personnel. This course aims to provide key information to food handlers to ensure that they know the correct methods and principles of food handling, understand their legal requirement and keep the consumer safe.
It is accredited through Highfield qualifications which is a well recognised awarding body.
By the end of the course, participants will receive a Level 2 Food Safety certificate and will be able to: • Understand how they can work in a safe and healthy manner • Identify key hazards in their own workplace • Be able to understand and utilise rules and working practices of food hygiene • Understand the implications and results of their actions
