Handling media enquiries.
Probably you didn't opt for a career in statistics because you wanted to talk to journalists?   But at ONS, that is part of the role when you are the named contact on a bulletin or even just answering a colleague's phone in their absence. This course is here to prepare you for that responsibility, providing you with the knowledge and skills to be confident in telling your story, getting your key points across and yes, what to avoid saying!
(You are welcome to bring your lunch!)

16th August - Classroom 3 (new training suite)
11th September - Workshop Room
