Glass Star Workshop (copper foiling technique), The Craft House, Sunday, 22. November 2020

Join local glass expert Chloe Weatherhead for a relaxed, fun and informal day, making your own glass star using the foiling method.
You will be carefully taken through all the processes, helping you to develop the skills of glass cutting, grinding, foiling and soldering. 
Each participant will go home with the wonderful piece they have created in the workshop. Classes are suitable for complete beginners as well as those with some previous experience.
What does the course cover?
You will choose and cut your glass, learn the copper foiling technique and how to solder your foiled pieces together smoothly to assemble your final piece. There will be a maximum of 6 participants to ensure plenty of individual attention.
Note: This course involves working with lead solder, and for safety reasons we recommend that pregnant women do not attend.
What do I need to bring?
Just yourself and plenty of enthusiasm. We provide all materials, glass, copper foil, solder and tools for your day.
Please wear old clothes and closed-toed shoes.
Cost: £60 per person, includes all materials and equipment use. Complimentary tea,coffee and biscuits provided.
