A Glasgow ACEs Network Event in partnership with GCVS Everyone's Children Project and Glasgow Life
Understanding Care Experience: a presentation and documentary by Who Cares? Scotland and Lee Davidson, highlighting ACEs and adversity faced by Care Experienced individuals.  Lee is a Care Experienced individual and a Board Member for Who Cares? Scotland. She is an accredited mindfulness and wellbeing coach and is currently completing a BA in Health and Social Care.
The presentation raises awareness of the difficulties that children and young people **** in the current "care system". It highlights challenges faced and gives insight into what is missing from the system.  There will be a panel of Care Experienced individuals at the end for questions and discussion.
This documentary is presented in partnership with Glasgow Life’s FAB project.  FAB funds cultural, sporting and learning activities for care experienced young people.  This session is aimed at existing FAB providers and those wishing to become a verified FAB provider with Glasgow Life.  There will be a half hour meeting directly before the session for FAB providers.  Please indicate if you wish to attend this, when booking.
