Forest Bathing - Wanders for well-being - Winter wanders, Dartington Hall estate, Friday, 18. January 2019

Wanders for well-being are guided gentle walks incorporating optional invitations to enable you to relax and quieten your busy mind so you can receive the medicine and wisdom of the natural environment.
First we will gather and shake off the road dust. I will invite you to step through a gateway and leave behind your burdens and responsibilities for the next couple of hours as we step into the moment, savouring with all our senses the atmosphere of the woods or the gardens at Dartington. I will help you to awaken your senses and creative muse with a series of carefully crafted invitations culminating in a simple tea ceremony.
The route will be no more than a mile, the terrain generally gentle and suitable for all levels of fitness. This is not a hike or a nature walk where we identify species. It is an opportunity to be fully present in your senses, experiencing the forest from an authentic place of heart with the curiosity of a child. It is deeply relaxing and playful experience as you tune into the plant and animal world with the senses our ancestors used to thrive and survive.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Plenty of parking at Dartington hall. regular bus service.
What do i need to bring for the wander?
suitable clothes and footwear for the weather. a folding stool if standing for over 10 minutes is challenging.
water to drink.
long trousers boots and socks as it's tick season

I will email you a few days before the wander with directions on where to meet me and any extra info about the terrain we are walking.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
