Focus Digital – Digital / Social Media Workshop

This is one of a series of Fully Funded workshops from FOCUS DIGITAL.   If you are a trading SME based within the following areas: Black Country, Coventry & Warwickshire or Greater Birmingham and Solihull (more developed area), and would like to know more about social media marketing and how it can enhance your business – Coventry University Enterprises Business Solutions are offering you the chance to attend a Fully Funded day workshop (6 hours), with the option of an extra 6 hours of one to one support for your business.   The workshop is a full day of 6 hours with refreshments and lunch provided. You are asked to arrive promptly at 0830 for registration ready for an 0900 start.   Social Media Marketing is an interactive workshop designed to help SMEs gain a greater understanding of how social media can be used to benefit their business. • Understand the foundations, as well as wider scope of social media • Understand the basics of Youtube, Facebook, Google+, Twitter, Instagram and blogging • Be able to use the advanced features of the most popular social networks   DATA PROTECTION: This workshop is provided free to you if you meet the eligibility criteria. We will keep all information you provide confidential and treat it in accordance with the requirements of the Data Protection Act 1988 and General Data Protection Regulation 2016.   This project is part funded by European Regional Development Fund   Eligibility Criteria:   Is your Company based within the eligible LEP areas (Black Country, Coventry & Warwickshire, Greater Birmingham & Solihull (more developed area))? You are an SME with less than 250 employees? Does your company have either an annual turnover not exceeding €50m (£35m) OR an annual balance sheet total not exceeding €43m (£30M)? Is your company owned or part owned by one or more companies? If yes, does the owning company and group fall within the definition of an SME? (if no – company not eligible) Has your company received public funding of more than €200,000 under De minimis regulation in the last 3 years (If yes – company not eligible)? Is your Company in financial distress?
