The OBUS schools Diploma in Sports Massage and Remedial Bodywork is designed to give you the necessary knowledge and skills to work confidently with injured and non-injured muscle tissue. It is for anyone that is interested in soft tissue remedial massage, from assessment, delivery, rehabilitation and prevention.As well as sports specific evaluation skills, you will also learn how to apply the sports massage methods with non-athletic clients.

Who can take this course?This course is open to qualified massage therapists.  It builds on your knowledge of massage and anatomy and physiology to help you help your is suitable for therapists who want to work with athletes.It is also suitable for massage therapists who want to work with non-athletic clients to get them out of pain and to aid recovery.
Note to students:To ensure your learning experience is enjoyable students are advised to allocate 3 hours per week for home study to enable them to keep up with the material taught in class.
