Developing Authentic Self Love, Friends Meeting House, Sunday, 22. September 2019

Half Day meditation workshop with Buddhist Teacher Chelvi Mailvaganan
Learn to let go self-critical thoughts and develop authentic and stable self-love based upon your spiritual potential.
Lacking authentic self love is something that we all experience at one time or another. When we lack authentic self-love we feel discouraged and fail to see any potential within ourselves.
If we wish to develop a positive relationship with ourself,  it cannot be based upon superficial things like reputation, external accomplishments, status, or praise from others. Although these may temporarily lift us up and make us feel better about ourselves if we are unable to obtain them, or are separated from them, we shall soon lose our good feelings about  ourselves.
On this half day course we will look at how we can use Buddhist meditation to develop authentic and stable self-love and confidence based upon our spiritual potential – something that is indestructible and innate within each of us.
