This course is aimed at those already brewing all grain beers and looking to improve their knowledge. The day includes hands-on ingredient analysis and practical beer testing.
This one day course delves deeper into designing and brewing brilliant beer. Tutor Jonny Mills will take you through the finer points of recipe design and process technique to enable you to brew the best possible beer. By the end of the day you will be leaving a more confident brewer and will have learnt how to design great, tasty beers.

Topics include:

Ingredient analysis
Water treatment
Grist bill design
Advanced wort production
Hopping techniques
Fermentation control
Basic lab analysis
Dissolved oxygen
Shelf life

This course includes:

Morning Coffee/Tea & Pastries
Lunch - this will be provided by one of Bristol finest lunchtime eateries, these include Pieminister, Pinkmans and Harts Bakery. Vegetarian options available.
An end of day beer in New Bristol's tap bar with the Head brewer and team.

NB: Please remember this is a working brewery so wear practical clothes and shoes.
